We are focused on delivering innovative service solutions for our clients. The Role The Role is based within the Power Protect Team within BGIS. Utilising a flexible and adaptable approach the responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include: Key Accountabilities Develop and maintain strong and impactful relationships with key strategic customers and sub-contractor networks Provide training, support, and guidance for service staff Assist service administration team with scheduling works planning Ensure parts and materials for upcoming works are ordered in a timely manner Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers Work together with product sales staff for opportunities and project delivery Attend manufacturer training sessions as required Maintain up-to-date training and technical information on power quality equipment Provide on-site and phone based technical support to field service staff Ensure service works are being carried out to a high standard Review service reports for accuracy and to identify further service opportunities Provide quotations for life-cycle replacements and upgrades Provide leads for maintenance contracts to sales Conduct internal training sessions Perform installation, and maintenance activities as required Perform technical troubleshooting of a wide range of electrical equipment Assist with customer problem resolution Conduct customer training on equipment Ideal Experience and Selection Criteria Tertiary Qualification in Electrical and/or Electronics Experience in Power Electronics and/or Generators Demonstrated experience in working in technical and complex environments Customer centric with excellent stakeholder management skills Proficient in relevant computer software Word, Excel, Outlook (or related program) and Internet access Effective Communicator (excellent verbal and written communication) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management abilities Strong communication skills.
