This is a work from home position with regular travel to client sites in the greater Sydney region. Own transport is a must. This role is an integral part of the soma service team. This includes receiving, taking ownership of and actively resolving end user support requests whilst striving to deliver the highest level of customer service. You will require proven experience supporting the following technologies: Extensive Desktop Support in an AD environment (Office / Client Applications) Microsoft 365 Administration Microsoft Azure Administration MS Windows Server (2012 - 2022) Strong Networking Skills (Routing / NAT / DHCP / DNS) THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The key qualities of the perfect candidate include: A professional phone manner with a strong focus on customer service A desire to help people and make their request for support an enjoyable one Effective and efficient when working independently A strong desire and motivation for self-development and career progression Attention to detail and pride in your work A good sense of humour Can think on your feet and learn new technologies quickly Proven academic ability in the IT industry Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role Well organised with great time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Patience with dealing with novice users Experience with a ticketing system for job management A love for documentation Experience in a Managed Service environment THE SOMA CULTURE Our culture is extremely important to us Anyone joining our team needs to understand our values and fit the mould.
