Due to business growth, they are seeking a Support Engineer to join their internationally growing team based in Jandakot, WA . About the role Survey projects range in size and scope, with thousands of line kilometres flown on an annual basis on various airborne geophysical technologies in various countries across the world. As a Support Engineer , you will participate in maintaining the AGG ( Airborne Gravity Gradiometer ) systems for the company. Reporting to the AGG Engineer, you will rotate between working in the Jandakot office and being in the field for up to 4 weeks at a time. You will utilise your hands-on experience in electronics, mechanical tools and instrumentation to complete calibrations, fault finding and repairs of the geophysical equipment, design & build auxiliary systems as well as preparing daily reports on its status. About you The successful candidate will hold an Electronic Engineer Degree or Diploma or be a highly qualified technician (Cert IV minimum), be keen to learn, have natural leadership qualities, and be able to utilise an autonomous approach. You will ideally have practical electronics experience with a good mechanical aptitude. Previous hands-on electronic experience is advantageous, particularly soldering on PCBs and connectors using multimeters and oscilloscopes. Experience in Schematic Design software and a good understanding of PC architecture are required.
