At Enerven, we’re focussed on connecting you with tomorrow The Role: Reporting to the Transmission Lines Manager, the Principal Transmission Lines Engineer is accountable to provide specialist engineering skills for the transmission lines design and engineering function of projects, maintenance and emergency restoration for Enerven’s customers. They will be responsible for leading and mentoring engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver transmission line design and engineering deliverables. The Principal Transmission Lines Engineer will: Responsible for the delivery of transmission line design and engineering assigned under Enerven’s capital works portfolio. Provide technical management with bidding and estimating / financial tracking. Design of overhead transmission lines including projecting scoping, preparation of technical specifications which also include; PLS-CADD Line design. Structure and footing design. Electrical and maintenance clearances. Construction of loading assessment including engineering input method preparation Emergency restoration of damages to overhead transmission lines. What you will need: Minimum 10 years’ experience, in Engineering in the Transmission or Distribution sector Previous team and project leadership experience Experience managing engineering and design portion of >$10M project portfolio (national experience preferred) Project and Design Leadership / Management experience Degree in Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering (essential) Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia (essential) Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable) Current drivers’ licence Help us share in a brighter future with Enerven in a key role with a great supportive team, vibrant culture with genuine career development opportunities available.
