MC Changeover Drivers — Pallara, Brisbane

Lindsay Transport is currently seeking experienced MC Changeover drivers to join the team based at our Brisbane Depot About the Company: The Lindsay Group proudly operates an extensive Rural and National Transport and Logistics business across various locations connecting growers, regional communities and businesses with cities and sellers of fresh food across Australia. Lindsay Rural and the Hunters business provide essential services and products to rural Australia across most Australian growing regions. Today we employ over 1,800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country. The Role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking 2x fulltime MC Changeover Drivers to join the team at our Brisbane Depot. Primary duties of the role include: Working with temperature sensitive freight Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles Completing essential documentation such as pre-start checklists, work diary pages, and safe drive plans. Rosters available: Miriamvale Changeover (Tues-Fri 9pm starts) Childers Changeover (Mon-Fri or Mon-Sat approx. 11am starts) About the requirements: The candidates we are looking for will have: Have a current & valid MC licence. Experience driving B-doubles (essential) Changeover or Linehaul Experience (essential) Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well-regarded but not essential) Be well presented, professional and reliable with a strong customer focus A commitment to workplace health and safety To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Experience transporting chilled freight, or frozen freight is highly regarded.
