Stable business, dedication to staff who perform and support the team Based in O’Connor, Gourmet & More is a family-owned and operated local WA business wholesaling gourmet food, confectionery and refrigerated products to the Perth Metro & Regional WA areas. We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver/ Store Person to complement, contribute and add value to our hard working and growing team. The Opportunity: This role is ideal for an experienced candidate who is willing to support our Warehouse Manager to complete traditional warehouse and delivery duties OR a dedicated junior who is eager to learn and develop their skills under our tutelage. Our business sells a wide range of products to our valued customers which range mostly from Independent Supermarkets, Gourmet Retailers, Confectionery Specialists and many more. We have dedicated Perth Metro delivery days ranging from Butler in the North to Mandurah in the South and Mundaring in the East. We deliver all WA Regional orders to the customer's nominated freight yard in the Perth Metro area. Your main responsibilities will include: Provide safe, friendly, accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. Accurate picking and packing customer orders. Assisting in checking off supplier pallet deliveries. Managing general warehouse cleanliness and safety. To be considered for this role you will have: Previous experience in a similar role. Experience within the retail food market is desirable. A valid Australian C Class Drivers Licence and clean driving record. A forklift licence is advantageous. Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening. Capability to manage in a manual work environment. Previous experience using an Inventory Computer System is desirable. Possess strong customer service skills. A passion for getting the job done accurately. An organised approach to your daily schedule. The ability to work with minimal supervision.
