OUR TEAM As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. YOUR ROLE: Join us as a Senior Systems Engineer where you will be responsible to perform a subset of the system engineering activities required to develop a solution or product. Working at our Melbourne office, on Wurundjeri Land, your role purpose is to: Define and specify requirements for our life saving Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms. Support and guide system/integration solutions through the full product life cycle to ensure requirements again acceptance. Author Systems Specifications, Verification Cross-Reference Matrixes, Product Breakdown Structures. Apply Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools and modelling methodologies to define system functions, requirements and interfaces. Prepare and perform the solution or product integration, verification and validation tests. YOUR EXPERIENCE: You will have good knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals to understand vehicle modifications proposed by Design Engineers (DEs) in various projects, ECPs etc. You are familiar with management and engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, TFS, JIRA. Any exposure to Defence (ASDEFCON) standards is a huge plus. You can quickly understand the system in which you evolve (key stakeholders, interactions, products, environment etc.). You know what a design-to-cost approach means and are able to adapt and react to change. You have experience with autonomously leading engineering projects or activities.
