Corporate Property and Lease Administrator — Perth CBD, Perth

Seeking an experienced property professional, capable and competent in interpreting commercial leases. 12-month part time contract. Our client is a global education provider with a diverse portfolio of commercial leases. They have recently taken all property matters in house from an external agency provider, and an opportunity has arisen to work within their internal property team. The role is a part time maternity leave contract commencing July, 30 hours per week; hours and days flexible. The Corporate Property and Lease Administrator will be competent in interpreting commercial lease clauses and coordinate the sourcing, review, input and maintenance of lease information. Key responsibilities will include: Audit review of lease details with accuracy and efficiency Develop / generate reports from the system Supporting the transition of activities to empower and develop capabilities of internal divisional Lease Co-ordinators. Co-ordination of monthly reports from the business to update Lease Expiry report Monitoring, reporting and follow up of outstanding lease documentation with engagement from lawyers, agents, landlords and business reps. Facility management including essential services management (air conditioning, lifts and fire safety), day-to-day management of operations & compliance matters, ensuring quality control of contractors and liaison with internal stakeholders. Dealing with external agency on systems access issues, upgrades, functionality issues etc. Requesting support from landlords where necessary to resolve invoicing issues etc. To be successful you will have: Proven experience in commercial lease administration including working knowledge of leases, property management and reporting systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High outcome orientation and willingness to challenge the status quo. A renowned team player with great communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly develop relationships. Demonstrated attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
