About the Role Proficiently complete functions associated with the wait list of patients, booking for procedures/appointments, managing cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using the relevant information systems in a timely manner. This may include liaising with local health care providers about referrals, scheduling, supporting documentation, etc to ensure all administrative needs are met. Register patient data onto relevant electronic databases and ensure patient data is updated in a timely manner. High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Provide excellent customer services, and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff over the phone, via email and in person and assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
