About the role: Exciting career opportunity now available to join Lendlease in Western Australia. We have recently secured a new, long-term package of Government work south of the city, and are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Contracts Administrator with Lendlease, you will be a key point of contact in the project team and be responsible for subcontract management on this project. Including the procurement of major trade packages, administration of subcontracts, assessing variations, and claims, as well as managing monthly forecasting, budget, and cost reporting, while fostering strong relationships with client's, subcontractors, and suppliers. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and supplier agreements are properly managed. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of both head and sub-contracts. Manage procurement of major trade packages. Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements. Undertake monthly progress claim reporting, and presentations to internal stakeholders. Manage project finalisation activities including financial and defects close out, and completion documentation. To be successful, you will need: 7 years' experience in the Construction industry, working for a main contractor, with experience on commercial, and/or residential projects. Proven track-record managing contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance. Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts. Proven ability managing procurement and tender processes. High-level financial knowledge to manage budgets and monitor costs.
