Retail & Brand Experience Manager - DFO Homebush — The Rocks, Sydney

Role purpose The key purpose of the Retail & Brand Experience Manager is to foster strong retail partnerships and execute both the 'Retailer First' retail engagement strategy and the centre's marketing strategy to maximise the net property income, customer experience, trade results and value of the centre in line with the Vision Strategy Action Plan (VSA). Effective tactical execution of key marketing activity and campaigns will deliver the marketing objectives for the centre and drive the best customer experience for the centre's community. What will you bring? You will be an experienced commercial or retail industry expert with a strong working knowledge of retail legislation, leases and retail fundamentals, and broad competency in modern results driven marketing. Alternatively, you'll have a comparable business background in hospitality, resorts or destinations where an exceptional consumer experience is vital. You will have a proven background at building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and consumers at all levels, the local community and stakeholder groups within the community. You have a passion for enriching community experience through creating Centres where people love to connect. You have outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and a proven track record working with identified customer segments and sales categories, driven by a good understanding of the local competitive landscape and key customer insights. This will require: Strong relationship management Understanding of the retail landscape Event implementation and management skills Proofreading and editing skills Interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills Customer service skills Financial acumen and proven performance to drive value and commercial results. Strong organisational, compliance and time management skills Ability to work as a part of a team and develop/ maintain strategic relationships Known for your passion and experience in continually nurturing customers (retailers & consumers), understanding their needs and always delivering on the consumer experience, your desire to live and breathe the Vicinity brand will see you succeed in this role. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred. What will success look like?
