About the role Visual Arts Teacher (Fixed Term till end of 2024) St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint a creative and suitably qualified Visual Arts Teacher to join our vibrant Visual Arts faculty to commence in Term II, 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, and a willingness to integrate innovative pedagogy and contemporary classroom teaching practice that both supports and challenges students. The successful candidate would also possess a strong commitment to academic teacher excellence, embracing a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. Demonstrating an inquiry-based approach and a passion for enabling all students to investigate different ideas and interests in all artworks, this role presents a great opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced teacher with a commitment to instilling students’ appreciation of the Visual Arts, with the added ability to teach Technology an advantage. Reporting to the Head of Visual Arts, this is a temporary full-time position commencing Term II until the end of the year, with the possibility to convert permanently in 2025.
