Assessment Administration Officer — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne

Position overview The Assessment Administration Officer role is responsible for case managing matters received by Complaints and Statutory Referrals, with core functions including the assessment and evaluation of building and/or plumbing complaints; building surveyor termination requests, referrals and notifications from building surveyors and initiating the appropriate course of action in accordance with the relevant legislation and VBA guidelines, as well as ensuring compliance, issuing of education or warnings, triage for investigation, referrals to other agencies. The role will also provide a range of administrative support to the Team Leaders and team including management of inboxes, lodgement of complaints and termination applications, identification and actioning of priority matters, responding to enquiries, liaising with a range of stakeholders, delivering the VBA's customer service imperatives, maintaining relevant case management systems.
