Job Description The role of Technical Director - Engineering, reports to Martin our Head of Engineering. The Engineering Team currently numbers 40 and continues to grow at a sustainable rate. The role is considered a Hybrid role based out of our Box Hill Studio. As Technical Director, you will hold the ultimate technical vision for a project, in terms of software, pipelines, and processes. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Influence and inspire other team members to support the technical decisions on the project. Build trust with both clients, and with senior / executive internal employees & managers. Negotiate key project requirements and deliverables with other departments. Influence the executive management when necessary. Influence client communications. Assist in the technical direction and engineering leadership within the studio. Assist in creating, keeping up to date and enforcing standards, processes and procedures Coordinate with other Keywords studios where appropriate to share knowledge. Make ongoing and positive impacts to the way the studio operates. Manage reports: Conduct regular one on ones. Performance mange where necessary Conduct performance reviews. Provide regular feedback (both positive and areas to work on)
