Want to be a part of our team? NTT is looking for two Level 3 Network Engineers to join our growing Managed Services team on a permanent position. Our Managed Services team supports day-to-day operations, across multivendor hybrid IT environments. Engineers ensure client IT infrastructure, systems and solutions remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical issues, restoring service, and facilitating the automated management and control of these systems. Our Network Engineers are responsible for managing WAN, LAN and Data Centre Routing and Switching, Wireless Networks, Load Balancers and Firewalls. Whilst we are looking for a certain level of experience, the successful candidates will be provided the opportunity to train on tech such as DC power management systems, Cisco CrossWorks and will be working on future projects such as SD-WAN, etc. Working at NTT - Support, maintain and manage the technical aspects of a managed network and network security solution. - Work independently, with general direction from the client, stakeholders, team lead or senior manager, to perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests in a timely manner within agreed SLA. Timely and consistent updates of tickets with resolution tasks performed. - Proactively identify, investigate, analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner. Capture all required and relevant information for immediate resolution - Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within client specified change windows. Liaise with the client, vendors, and other partners to ensure minimal disruption to the client's day-to-day business operations. - Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported devices and networks and assist in proper capacity planning and management. - Identify recurring issues and initiate problem management. - Proactively identify, contribute, implement, and work with automation teams for effort optimization and automating routine tasks. - Test new software versions and patches for release suitability and problem resolution. - Maintain detailed, accurate technical documentation and operational procedures for supported solutions. - Assist with project delivery to ensure projects deliver to the stated business benefits. Technical Stack Experience with the following Core Technologies : - Cisco MPLS/SR BGP Segment Routing Configuration - Cisco EVPN and VXLAN Network with MP-BGP EVPN - Cisco Nexus switches - Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC) - F5 Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM) - F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) - UPS systems Desirable Experience: - Automation technologies: Ansible, Jenkins, Cisco Crosswork - Wireless (Cisco) - Voice (Cisco) - Cisco ISE - Automation technologies - VMWare - Scripting: Python, PowerShell - F5 ASM - Networking Monitoring Tools Education and Training - Diploma or Bachelors degree in IT or a related discipline - ITIL Foundation certification v3 / v4 - Cisco certification Attributes - Excellent client service orientation and passion for achieving or exceeding expectations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups. - Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance and considers possible changing circumstances. - Ability to maintain a positive outlook at work. - Ability to work well in pressure situations. - Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms. - Ability to work hard and put in extended hours when it is necessary. - Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
