The Role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking MC Linehaul Drivers to join the team at our Bundaberg depot. Employed on a casual basis we require Driver’s for the Bundaberg to Brisbane run. Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another. This role demands a high level of skill, expertise and experience in operating a B-Doubles Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Working with temperature sensitive freight Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight. Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Experience driving B-doubles MC class Licence Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential) A commitment to workplace health and safety Experience transporting chilled & frozen freight is highly respected Reliable and punctual with good communication skills A strong customer focus To be successful for this role applicants must; Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Be prepared to work nights & weekend with flexibility of start and finish times Lindsay Australia operates with a culture of honesty and openness.
