About Supply Chain Branch: Supply Chain is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director. The Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all Hospital and Health Services, Queensland Government and some external agencies. What we are looking for: Proven ability to provide sound leadership, management and development of administrative support services and staff to enhance service delivery within an inventory management and service delivery environment. Ability to quickly acquire and apply high level knowledge in purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, sales and distribution, resource management and financial reporting practices. High level of interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships with team members and clients. Proven ability in the use of computerised information systems in support of inventory management, financial reporting and human resource management, and the ability to link them to improve efficiency and productivity. Proven ability to complete work within agreed timeframes, manage competing priorities and ensure attention to detail.
