In this role you will be an active leading team members, encouraging staff engagement and participation in curriculum decision making, in addition to guiding and supporting colleagues with their pedagogical practice. You will have a good knowledge of the EYLF and QIP so that you can support the Centre in driving the curriculum and supporting the team of staff. Task & Responsibilities Act in a manner that promotes the best interests of the child. Support, lead and mentor other educators within the room. Support children’s individual wellbeing and comfort in sleep, rest and relaxation. Ensure each child has a sense of Being, Belonging and Becoming within the service. Work within the National Quality Framework, the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics, the service philosophy, policies and procedures. Ensure that all records for the children in your group are maintained and up to date as per the service policies and the NQS. Qualification & Experience Essential Criteria: A relevant Bachelor of Early Childhood Education Minimum of two years' full time experience as an Early Childhood Teacher Proven mentoring and/or leadership experience Current First Aid Certificate as well as CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection training (or willing to obtain) Valid Working with Children Check.
