SAS Senior System Administrator required for a 12 month contract working on a large client IT environment. My client is a leading global software and services company. Due to continued growth they are looking for a SAS System Administrator to join their team on a 12 month contract. As the successful SAS System Administrator you will be responsible for working with clients to help with the configuration, performance and reliability of their SAS solutions. Position responsibilities: Perform daily administration activities for all servers including analysing, installing, modifying Operating Systems, storage, applications, backups and account administration Assist and lead with the planning (implementation and ongoing usage/forecasting/trending), design, setup and troubleshooting of Operating Systems, hardware and software Troubleshoot hardware, software, or performance problems Develop documentation for system support tasks Position Requirements: Extensive experience with SAS v9 Experience with SAS Viya will be highly regarded 5 years of experience working with Linux and Unix OS Support experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare preferred) Experience with infrastructure architecture including Servers, Network, Storage and Backup Services Experience in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc) Australian Citizenship Initial 12 month contract Immediate start If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity do not hesitate to apply by clicking on the link below.
