Under the supervision and broad direction of the Centre Director, the role of Early Childhood Teacher at the Wiradjuri Preschool and Child Care Centre will be responsible for: The development and delivery of a high quality education and care program. Leading and inspiring the team in providing an education and care program that meets the individual needs of children attending. Upholding the rights of children through sound pedagogical practices. Demonstrating professional ethical practice across the team; and Model inclusive practices. In addition to nurturing young minds at Wiradjuri Preschool and Child Care Centre, this role offers future opportunities to contribute to teaching and research endeavours within the early childhood degree program. Essential requirements for this role: Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) – ACECQA Approved Course. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or educator in an early childhood education and care setting. Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration. Current Senior First Aid Certificate which includes Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
