We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of our cement rendering projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, quality control, and efficient project delivery. Duties and Responsibilities: Create blueprints, diagrams, detailed drawings and sketches for Elohim Cement Render including water and sewerage systems, irrigation projects, railways, harbors, airports, roads, bridges and other structures. Visit site locations, perform fieldwork research and carry out material and element testing. Understand work orders and job requests, perform appropriate civil engineering methods and select correct tools and equipment. Determine and compute project costs by calculating labour, material and related expenses to ensure completed projects meet approved requirements, specifications and contract terms. Gather and evaluate data and perform calculations for layouts and designs. Survey and examine ongoing civil engineering projects, identify design or construction problems and oversee and coordinate necessary maintenance and repair work. Conduct field testing to determine the physical properties of building construction materials such as cement, fine and coarse aggregate and other related topographical or geological data for traffic data collection. Skills and Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or minimum of 2 years’ relevant industry experience Familiarity with Civil Design software – AutoCAD and Revit Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
