THE ROLE Currently an opportunity exists for a Solutions Design Manager which sits within the Solutions Design team, servicing their contract Logistics business across the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the National Head of Solutions Design and Engineering, this position will see you focussed on developing solutions within the business to meet their clients contract requirements with regard to supply chain. Ideally you will possess a broad skill set encompassing analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the integration of solutions across diverse platforms. K EY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Ensure the efficiency of data analysis and interpretation to recommend suitable systems, equipment, processes and resources. Assisting with input for tenders and contract renewals Collaborate to identify the most suitable & efficient use of warehouse space / design layout based on customers particular business requirements. Provide functional and technical solutions to Projects. Provide support to Business and IT leadership with guidance in supply chain solutions. Contribute to business process improvements and enforce standardisation. Conduct necessary reviews for validations/challenges of cost/risk Enable to deliver high end solutions from improved awareness and understanding of innovative concepts utilising the latest available and accepted technology (including automation, robotics). Work within a Standard Work Framework for Solution Design to ensure efficient solution design process are aligned to the businesses methodologies. Involve and work with internal teams including Innovation & Automation, Operations Excellence to deliver engagement programs SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Data Analytics, Data Science or equivalent paired with post qualification experience; OR significant industry experience Previous experience utilising Power BI is essential Advanced skills in Microsoft Power Platform products Strong data analytical skills Commercial and technical understanding of Contract Logistics.(Highly preferred but not essential) Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships across the business Ability to develop operationally feasible solutions to meet customer requirements Excellent knowledge in calculating costings, and assisting with input for tenders and contract renewals ABOUT YOU Self-starter with positive attitude to overcome problems effectively and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision. A previous background in Business System Analysis (Well regarded) Possess solid persuasive skills when presenting the proposed solutions to the customer. A hands-on approach, with an ability to multi-task and work under time pressure. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel functions – VBA/VLOOKUP/PivotTable, and PowerPoint, etc), Knowledge about other Microsoft 365 Apps including but not limited VISIO/Stream/Power BI is a plus.
