Reporting to the Development Director, this role will provide leadership to the development and project management teams. Managing 3 direct reports, the focus of this role will be on delivering successful outcomes with regard to project vision, cost quality and customer service within our retail space. As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include: Manage project brief creation with internal and external teams, distilling outcomes Manage financial aspects, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control throughout planning, development, and construction phases Direct design process to align with project brief, budget, and timelines, ensuring cost-effective solutions Cultivate relationships with major stakeholders, including tenants, authorities, consultants, and delivery partners Incorporate Safety in Design reviews and sustainable initiatives into design development Manage planning and development approvals with regulatory bodies Prepare and negotiate legal documentation, leases, and contracts Oversee tender process and contractor selection Contribute to sales and marketing strategy Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring timely and effective service delivery You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: Demonstrated experience in applying accredited HSE Management systems Certificates IV in Work, Health and Safety, and in Environment Site Management Construction Induction Card, and Advanced First Aid Application Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proven ability to interpret and apply the WHS legislative framework Don't quite meet every single requirement but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
