BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions, and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys. In this strategic role, working within the Design Solutions group, you will identify and develop relationships with key industry stakeholders in the architectural space to inspire and motivate Designers to creatively express themselves and build better buildings using our Lysaght and Fielders products. Ensuring we are in the best position to compete for the targeted building and construction projects now and in the future. What Will You Do? Building strong collaborative relationships with our sales and marketing and operational teams, you will: identify business opportunities and industry stakeholders through strategic business development activity, research and industry networking events engage with architects, builders and regulatory bodies to stimulate interest in, increase knowledge of and inspire them to use our products to secure future specification liaise with internal sales and marketing teams within your business unit to connect channel partners with suitable customers to deliver solutions and commercial outcomes More About You As an innovative business development professional who is exceptional at networking and building strategic, sustainable relationships, you will bring: demonstrated success in obtaining specifications and translating key customer requirements into improved product and service offerings and sales a proactive approach to market engagement and growing market influence and reach experience managing a sales pipeline that has a medium to long term lead time ability to navigate complex sales channels and deal with ambiguity a hunger for sales growth and success through collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships a sound knowledge of the construction sector and technical aspects of cladding Why BlueScope As BlueScope continues to go from strength to strength, a career with us provides you with the opportunity to grow and be rewarded.
