National Sales Manager — East Brisbane, Brisbane

Six Degrees Executive are thrilled to be partnering with this global outdoor, adventure and lifestyle brand, as they seek a National Sales Manager to join them in Brisbane. Considered an innovator within the categories they operate, this operation takes the brand to new heights through exceptional customer experiences and servicing. As the business continues to grow, they look to bring further sophistication to their sales operations. To that end, they require an accomplished commercial leader, with strong mentoring and coaching abilities, to drive this local evolution. The National Sales Manager will inherit a sales funnel that covers OEM, distribution and service and aftermarket channels, serviced by a lean, passionate and well-tenured sales team. With the intention of driving sales to achieve local market growth in line with the global strategy, the National Sales Manager will do so by refining and localising remits, building performance capabilities, and identifying new revenue streams. It is imperative that the National Sales Manager be able to demonstrate: Key Account & Relationship Management Ability – an expert ability to build and maintain key relationships, identifying opportunities to partner with and expand networks Framework Design, Implementation & Change Management – prior experience in designing and executing new sales strategies from scratch, while expertly communicating and leading teams in times of change Commercial Literacy & Acumen – the ability to expertly access, report on and leverage sales activity, in order to drive growth and build new sales streams Stakeholder Management – be able to collaborate with local and international counterparts, while also educating and respectfully challenging ways of working and ways of improving the customer strategy Coaching & Mentoring – an obvious ability and passion for building capability within sales teams, to motivate and drive high performance With a global distribution and dealer network, multiple manufacturing sites around the world, and overall reach across over 100 countries, this brand means serious business. This is a national role, and the successful candidate can expect to travel interstate routinely. While a love for the outdoors is not required, it is advantageous, as is time spent within the technology, consumer electronics or appliance manufacturing space.
