ROLE As an Administration Officer you will provide exceptional customer service to both staff and the general public, maintain office supplies and equipment, and assist with a variety of administrative tasks such as word processing, scheduling meetings, and data entry. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high administration standards, communicating effectively with consumers and their families, and promoting a child-safe environment. Additionally, the individual will need to demonstrate cultural sensitivity, maintain up-to-date contact information, and follow established protocols for reporting hazards and incidents. They will also need to stay informed about changes in the aged care reform environment and maintain a safe work environment by following WHS and IM legislative and organizational requirements. Overall, the individual will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a child-safe environment. YOU Experience working in a fast-paced administration/customer service/reception role within a community service, not for profit or similar organisation Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes to a high standard within agreed timeframes Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal skills Experience using electronic and hardcopy client management systems, databases, software systems and filing systems Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), the internet, and the intranet as well as office equipment/technology High level interpersonal skills, customer service and relationship building skills including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict Ability to multi-task and continuously re-prioritise workload in constantly changing high volume environment to meet consumer requests and business needs Excellent time management, organisation and multi-tasking skills Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy including a strong focus on quality of work Ability to work efficiently and effectively autonomously and as part of the team Understands and adheres to scope of practice of the role and refers onto other staff and services as appropriate QUALIFICATIONS A Certificate III/IV qualification Business Administration or related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a similar role Current DHS Working with Children Check Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check Current National Police Clearance This company offers continuous upskilling and the chance to work on projects end to end.
