The main responsibilities include achieving sales budget for your allocated region by enhancing key customer relationships and strong implementation. Key Deliverables: • Ownership/expansion of state dealer network for the above 3 focus categories • Development/management of state dealer support structure and enhance relationships • Drive sales within territory with single-minded focus to achieve target, optimise ROI and time management • Input/research into possible new product ideas/business opportunities • Develop/conduct product training for dealer base • Input into & implement national and customised promotional/merchandising initiatives • Ensure profitability of the business is maintained • Grow existing and prospective new customers • Track/analyse/report business/market/competitor trends to state/national management Requirements: • Ability to travel to customers, residing in the metro region will be beneficial but not mandatory, occasional travel to regional areas • Ability to collaborate with multiple parties from inside and outside the company to achieve the desired outcomes • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ambition and a desire to succeed • Exposure to either retail or trade (automotive is mandatory), previous experience is highly regarded • Attending Trade events and hosting stands at exhibitions and conferences • Developing growth plans for current business and identifying new businesses • Managing and nurturing relationships with existing customers • 5 years experience in similar rep role The ideal candidate would be expected to be away from home from time to time to travel to regional areas.
