Full time ongoing position (part time considered) Salary based on experience, range: $98,902 - $123,624 (pro rata) plus super Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model About the role:Victoria Legal Aid is seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer to join our Service Design and Innovation team in Melbourne. This is an ongoing position focused on improving client experience and access to legal assistance services across Victoria. As the Senior Service Designer, you will provide expert service design support, strategic guidance and capacity building support to Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) and its partners. Additionally, you will contribute to evidence-based planning efforts aimed at fostering collaboration to achieve overarching sector-wide outcomes. This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country. About you:As our ideal candidate, you will possess: End-to-end service design experience in government, social or legal services. Deep expertise in service design research methodologies and tolls such as journey mapping, blueprinting and personas. Knowledge of the drivers of disadvantage and legal need and approaches for engaging diverse communities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including clients, staff, partners, and government agencies.
