Transgrid is offering comprehensive training and hands-on experience tailored to accelerate your career as a Secondary Systems Technician. Throughout the development program you will learn the necessary skills required to perform Secondary Systems Technical work at Transgrid, including protection relay and scheme testing, metering accuracy testing, electrical fault finding in a substation environment and an introduction into substation high voltage equipment. The development program is approximately 6 months in duration, and after the successful completion of the training you will be a permanent full-time Grade 1 Secondary System Technician.
