Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects. What you'll do We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team in Brisbane. The role responsibilities include: Complete conceptual and detailed designs from mechanical engineering sketches or specification outlines of engineers or a supervising design drafter. Participate in review of mechanical/ instrument design and advise on technical drafting difficulties or government/client compliance requirements as appropriate. Investigate new drafting techniques and drafting equipment and recommend changes to standard practices. Maintain a general oversight of systems development for plan storage/retrieval and monitor activities of the plan recording system and detailed service and failure records. Site investigation communication and concept development skills. Provide support for drawing information and requests. What you'll have Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Designer. Proficient in AutoCAD 3D / ProSteel and willing to learn E3D. Able and willing to work on a variety of underground mining scopes covering shaft fit-out/equipping and materials handling.
