Dispatch Manager / Warehouse Administrator — Dandenong South, Greater Dandenong

Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Warehouse Manager and working day shift. You will have utmost flexibility commencing work at 6, 7 or 8am, as a set shift of your choice. You will be adhering to working on basic warehouse administration and be spearheading operations in the Dispatch division. Your key duties will see you; Managing & coordinating the activities involved in picking, and on time dispatch of orders with strict deadlines; Assist in labour management, and ensure requirements are met day to day; Be the WMS point of contact for queries; Ensure efficiency in the inventory management system by overseeing receipt, storage and distribution of goods; Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries, and manage supply levels; Management of daily workloads for three 3PLs across Australia; Relevant reporting - inventory, order fulfilment, to identify any continuous improvement methods; and Liaise with transportation companies to ensure dispatch and delivery of goods Work on positive change management as the warehouse moves from manual picking to RF scanning as they head towards a more digital work flow. What you need to succeed Proven experience working as a dispatch manager (900 SKUS); Background working with WMS & confident to learn the specific system being implemented; Ability to think on your feet, stay organised, & demonstrate exceptional customer service skills; and Drive to lead operational excellence within the dispatch area and broader warehouse.
