Civil Engineer — Baulkham Hills, The Hills District

The Role As part of their growth strategy, a key hire has been identified at a Civil Engineer level to work on infrastructure and subdivision projects that the company are involved in. The Responsibilities As a Civil Design Engineer: Preparation of civil engineering designs and reports for subdivision bulk earthworks and road and drainage, including OSD and WSUD. Preparation of civil engineering designs and reports for building projects, including bulk earthworks, car parks and stormwater drainage (OSD and WSUD). Preparation of Bill of Quantities. Work closely with engineering team members to clarify design and/or documentation issues throughout the design, documentation and construction phases. Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and run assigned projects tasks. Provide regular project reviews and reporting to the Design Manager and Directors as required. Provide technical advice to management, staff and clients. Undertake site inspections as required. The Requirements With projects spanning land/urban development as well as road infrastructure, they are looking for a Civil Design Engineer who can demonstrate experience in leading projects across one or more of these sectors. You will therefore be able to demonstrate: 2 years previous civil engineering design experience desirable but not essential. Good working knowledge and experience with 12d and/or Civil 3D design package. Knowledge and understanding of Music and Drains software. Full working rights in Australia.
