MATHEMATICS TEACHER Closing Date for Applications: close of business Wednesday 8th May 2024 St Vincent’s College is seeking a committed educator with strong pedagogical knowledge and collaborative skills to join its dynamic Mathematics faculty. The successful candidate will have skills in the design and delivery of high-quality learning in Mathematics. They will have a desire to engage in pedagogical innovation and in integrating evidenced based practices in the classroom. Strong communication skills and a commitment to growth focused learning for young women is necessary. Applicants need to: Be knowledgeable about the NESA Mathematics curriculum. Have capacity to teach Mathematics in Stages 4, 5 and 6. Have a commitment to promoting a culture of growth and achievement in the classroom. Be committed to continuous improvement and professional learning. Hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be eligible to teach in NSW Have a commitment to Catholic education, displaying a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic schools and the particular Mission and Vision of the College Hold a current Working with Children Check, be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and well-being of young people. The College requires all staff to comply with Public Health Orders as issued by the Government. The load will include pastoral duties aligned to the Visible Wellbeing Program.
