Project Officer (Part Time) — Melbourne CBD, Melbourne

The Business Support & Governance team in the Water & Catchments Group is seeking a highly driven and organised Project Officer to deliver end-to-end grants management, administrative services, and project support. The role will support core operational processes within the Resilient Cities and Towns Branch and primarily coordinate the delivery of the Integrated Water Management Grant Program for Victoria, including program compliance reporting, budget tracking and procurement activities; and undertake internal reporting activities. The Resilient Cities and Towns Branch delivers policy and programs related to urban water management including the efficient use of potable water, management and use of stormwater and recycled water, the protection of urban waterways, and influencing and enabling cross-agency integrated water management for whole-of-community outcomes. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications A relevant tertiary qualification or higher (desirable) Demonstrated experience in grants or contract management, program/project monitoring and reporting, and procurement (highly desirable) High level proficiency with business enterprise applications and MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams (highly desirable) Knowledge of water policy or the Integrated Water Management Framework is not essential but would be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience using Global Engagement Management System (GEMS) is not essential but would be highly regarded. This is a fixed term position available for a period of 6 months. The position is a part-time opportunity, working 0.6FTE a fortnight. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
