Duties: Set up and test machinery as required based on SOP’s to ensure everything is in order Operating forklift to site standards and procedures Cleaning the machine as required and the completing of production activities Insert all production materials as required to achieve optimal production output Trouble shoot machine problems to determine actual faults and fix, if safe to do so Strictly adhere to customer’s product specifications to ensure good quality work Accurately record quality, material and manufacturing information Skills/Experience as a minimum for the above roles: Previous experience operating machinery in a food factory would be highly desirable Valid Australian forklift ticket Problem solving Good time management Proven experience with programming, setting and troubleshooting Sound experience in production practices in a manufacturing environment Sound technical skills and ability to fix/recognize problems with machinery Food Processing certificate would be favourable Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Full working rights to work a minimum of 38 hours a week ongoing Be Comfortable to work with meat products and be able to lift up to 20KG To apply for the position please click the APPLY BUTTON
