Job Description Your New Role Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Receptionist & Office Assistant will provide professional, friendly, and efficient corporate front desk service to both internal and external stakeholders. They will also deliver seamless and effective office administration support, ensuring the smooth operation of our Exhibition Street office. Core Accountabilities Manage phone and face-to-face inquiries at Development Victoria’s front desk. Answer incoming calls and enter sales leads into CRM database Greet visitors, ensuring sign-in and directing them to appropriate staff. Research and provide information about developments to stakeholders. Assist with meeting room bookings and resolve facility requests. Distribute newspapers, facsimiles, stationery, and manage shredder bins. Organise reception relief and train temporary staff. Maintain reception handbook and order catering for internal events. Manage internal mail bags, locker system, and prepare monthly reports. Review suppliers, maintain service catalogue, and assist with new hire inductions. Coordinate monthly office management reports and support event coordination. Code invoices, raise purchase orders, and manage petty cash reconciliation. Desired Skills and Experience About You Written communication skills: Experience preparing basic letters, emails, and reports with clear, concise, and grammatically correct language. Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients/customers. Certificate III or higher qualification in Business, Administration, Property, or relevant discipline (desirable) Experience working in a corporate reception/front desk role. Experience providing administrative support. Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with an electronic document management system (e.g., TRIM).
