Duties Provide administrative support to the business team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars and preparing documents. Monitor shared email inbox, responding to enquiries and actioning tasks from students, lecturers and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Order and receive good and services in accordance with approved procedures using Batchelor Institute systems. Support activities for VET Teaching teams, including assistance with the production and storage of course and unit materials, population of templates, print materials. Participate in identified training. The successful applicant will undertake a recognized Business qualification at an appropriate VET level as part of their duties. Selection Criteria Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams within the social, political, and cultural environments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, communities, and organisations. Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication which can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all educational levels. Demonstrated initiative and managing workload priorities. Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices, and ability to comply with Institute WHS Policies and Procedures.
