Based at our Plant in Benalla, Northern Victoria, the position of Senior Quality Engineer will focus on continuous improvement of Product Quality driving increased Customer Satisfaction within our manufacturing environment. Key focus will centre around: Deployment of customer containment actions and preventive actions to avoid recurrent issues Taking any necessary actions to make sure that the equipment or service will satisfy customer requirements and is the driving force in implementing continuous quality improvement Identifying the non-quality factors, conduct or have others conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans for dedicated products/ processes Identifying potential issues before they occur and implementing preventive solutions Monitoring transformer and HV/LV Switchgear manufacturing process quality Maintaining the Quality Management System Supporting and coaching quality inspectors for transformer/LV/HV inspection and incoming inspection Analysing quality indicators, understanding our targets, and striving for continuous improvement (using 8D or the 6 Sigma tools where appropriate) Carrying out quality and process audits as required Whilst we don't want to narrow the field, we believe the individual we want in our team will ideally come from a Manufacturing background where they have gained exposure to process analysis and improvement programs. Understanding of LV (Low Voltage) and MV (Medium Voltage) Equipment is preferred in combination with End-To-End Customer Project execution. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders, perform root cause analysis and interpret standards and quality gaps Interstate candidates will be supported with relocation package.
