Lead .NET Engineer with highly reputable & dynamic InsurTech My client, who is a highly reputable, dynamic InsurTech are in search of an experienced Lead, C# .Net Engineer who is proficient in Azure Cloud platform technologies to work on an exciting project aimed at advancing their technology roadmap. As part of their Software Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining their range of in-house technology assets. This role requires autonomy, forward-thinking, and exceptional expertise. You should possess a deep understanding of development practices, enterprise systems, web technologies, release processes, and cloud technologies. Critical thinking and strategic skills are necessary for system analysis and remediation. You will be joining a collaborative team working in an agile environment, where skills, attitude, and cultural alignment are highly valued. Responsibilities: Assess and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Ensure code quality through adherence to robust and secure coding standards, comprehensive testing, and documentation, along with automated code checking aligned with industry standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership capabilities, effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement skills. Write code primarily in C# .Net, ensuring it meets the required standards for purpose, security, performance, maintainability, testability (including unit tests), and documentation. Requirements: Expertise in C# .Net coding. Advanced understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, preferably including experience with event grid, logic apps, functions, and AD. Must have full working rights in Australia. Preferred qualifications: Demonstrable commercial coding experience and strong logical problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex business concepts verbally and in writing. Strong stakeholder management skills. Passion for technology and a drive to solve complex challenges. Experience or a keen interest in the pet/vet industry (beneficial). Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
