Position Overview: As a Truck Driver with a CV ticket, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations within our service regions. The role involves operating heavy vehicles, adhering to all road safety regulations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: · Safely operate a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Load and unload goods onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. · Plan routes and navigate efficiently to reach designated destinations within scheduled timeframes. · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards. · Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities. · Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns. · Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles on public roads. · Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the vehicle and at delivery sites. · Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Qualifications: · Valid Class C driver's license with a Heavy Vehicle endorsement. · CV Ticket or experience in operating vehicle loading crane. · Proven experience as a Truck Driver, with a clean driving record. · Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. · Excellent driving skills, including the ability to operate heavy vehicles in various weather and road conditions. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Flexibility to work occasional night shifts and weekends as required. · Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects.
