About the Facility The Information and Access Service is located at 120 Settlement Road, Belmont. The Information and Access Service provides a single point of entry to Community Health and Community Rehabilitation programs from a range of referral sources. The Service also redirects referrals for other Barwon Health departments. About the role The Clinical Administration Officer is responsible for the delivery of consumer focused administrative support that ensures equity of access throughout the patient’s journey in Community Health and Rehabilitation programs. In addition, this role will assist the wider clinical and administration teams at the Community Health Chronic and Complex programs, Rehabilitation centres as well as the Local Access Teams by providing efficient and effective clerical support so as to achieve desired outcomes. The role may be required to support multiple Barwon Health clinical services depending on service delivery needs. While our team is well supported by allied health and clinical professionals, it would be advantageous for the successful applicant to have an understanding of and be able to interpret medical terminology. The position will operate according to relevant legislation, Barwon Health policies, programs and department guidelines. This position is a fixed term maternity leave cover position, 48 hours per fortnight (3 days per week). The days of work are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with the opportunity to work additional hours to cover for planned and unplanned leave.
