The Role Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for a driven individual to join our successful Motors Business Unit. Located in Scoresby, the primary purpose of the Product Application & Sales Support role is to assist with the management of sales opportunities, order and product management tasks. These include analysis of technical specifications and company representation with all WEG Australia supply chain partners. The position has high administrative and technical content, but also requires a level of commercial acumen as well. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager - Motors, your responsibilities will include: • Liaise with WEG factories on commercial and technical matters concerning offers, orders, and the use and quality of WEG motors • Provide technical & commercial support to internal and external customers relating to the use, application and operation of WEG Motors • Summarise motor technical specifications • Prepare and manage product information • Deliver product knowledge training to internal and external customers • Present WEG motor products to current and potential customers, online or face to face settings About You To be successful in this role you will possess an enthusiastic can-do attitude, motivation to succeed and thrive in a small team environment. Additionally, you will demonstrate the following skills: • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification or relevant technical experience • Proficient with AC electric motors and or other rotating machines • Knowledge of relevant IEC and Australian standards • Communication: Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations • Ability to write comprehensive technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Desirable: • Previous experience in a technical role with exposure to a customer-centric approach to service • SAP B1 experience highly regarded Don't wait, apply now We are actively sourcing for this role, so please do not hesitate in applying If this sounds like YOU, please APPLY NOW by submitting your resume and cover letter via the online process.
