About the role: Marketing Specialist | Melbourne Based | Fixed term contract til March 2025 The Media and Planning Team oversees the development, implementation, and effectiveness of AGL's media strategy and associated spending to support the company's business objectives. They are responsible for planning and managing Paid Media in collaboration with AGL's appointed media agency. This team manages media relationships at an enterprise level and provides expertise to support the Marketing Leadership team and Managers across the business. The role of Marketing Specialist - Media Administration involves managing the team's financial aspects, such as purchase orders, budgets, estimates, accruals, and invoices. Additionally, this position supports the broader marketing team with administrative tasks, including the implementation of the Marketing Academy (education & training program), preparing presentations and various reporting duties. What you'll be doing: Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for media and marketing budget planning. Ensuring accurate finance management trackers for all marketing units and providing monthly reports to the leadership team. Managing media team invoices, accruals, and purchase orders, and spend tracking. Assisting in quarterly budget forecasts submitted to the business. Supporting in preparing presentations and marketing materials. Coordinating the education program rollout within consumer marketing Assisting in media planning and campaign processes. Handling ad hoc reporting and general administration tasks, including updating templates and procedure documents. About you: Demonstrated experience within an administrative role in a corporate environment. Analytically minded, experience managing finance & budgeting processes Marketing or media agency experience - desirable but not essential. Experience with SAP finance platform - desirable but not essential. Great attention to detail and confident Excel skills. Strong stakeholder management skills. Ability to time manage, extremely organised, and able to prioritise competing tasks. We'd like to see your application submitted by: 23rd April 2024.
