Your new role We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Digital Services team as Senior IT Systems Administrator on a full-time, permanent ongoing basis. Reporting to the Team Leader, IT Infrastructure, the role will provide advance support, maintenance, and day-to-day management of the IBAC IT infrastructure, namely the operational applications, systems, and networks. Duties include: Provide 2nd to 4th level (advanced and escalated) support and service to all IBAC officers for all IT systems, in accordance with agreed processes and policies. Implement, maintain, and provide recommendations to upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure. Provide technical expertise in the delivery of changes into IBAC infrastructure, network, and systems (on-premises and cloud). Lead complex ICT implementations and projects, carrying out application administration and system upgrades. The role will be required to, on occasion, work on site and remotely outside usual business hours to support operational commitments. The role will also provide after hours on-call technical support on a roster/or as required. Additional duties are set out in the position description. Our requirements / Your skill set We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities: Demonstrable advanced experience and skills supporting servers (physical/virtual), SAN technologies, Microsoft and Linux platforms, network infrastructure, security appliances (switches and firewalls), Microsoft Directory services and VMware vSphere. Proven Experience in administering cloud technology and deploying cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, MS Teams, Intune, Entra, Compliance), and hybrid environments. Experience in administration of virtualised environments Experience in the administration of telecommunication systems and devices, understanding of database technology and experience in backup and Business Continuity processes and technology is required.
