Help deliver a range of horticulture produce and crops across NSW & Queensland We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to become part of our clients family farming & transport business located near Yetman, NSW. They pride in transporting horticultural produce from farms to various destinations across NSW and Queensland. Your Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, for transportation of produce to/from market/storage. loading and unloading produce/bulk fertilizer/dangerous goods, using tipping devices. Load, transport, and unload according to specified routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations ensuring cargo is safely secured throughout the trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, farmers, and other team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries. Maintaining documentation, including logs, timesheets and records of any safety incidents. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Inspecting the truck to prevent any safety issues, reporting malfunctions to mechanic/supervisor. Reverse truck backing up to the unloading area and maneuver around rural terrain and poor road conditions. Wash/clean/maintain trucks and trailers. Requirements: Must have a valid Australian (MC) Multi Combination license, or ability to attain in a short period. Minimum three years of proven experience in bulk haulage preferred. Excellent driving record with a strong commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Salary rate of $70,000 - $90,000.
