Infrastructure Division The Infrastructure Division's primary focus is providing advice on infrastructure projects throughout all phases of development and implementation. This division leads and influences excellence in project delivery, so projects are delivered on time and on budget, and the full benefits of the investment are realised for Victorians. The Project Advisory team, within the Infrastructure Division, provides project and technical review, advice and assurance to enhance excellence in project delivery for the State's capital investments. The Division provides frameworks, guidance and policy advice to government on infrastructure procurement and commercial contracting, data and analytics on the capital program and strategic research across the sector. About the role Reporting to Senior Manager, Gateway in this role you will: support the organisation and management of DTF's Gateway Review Process and its continued improvement and development in consultation with internal stakeholders and delivery departments and agencies; undertake administration associated with the engagement of consultants, approvals and contracting, including dealing with accounts associated with each engagement; assist the Gateway Unit in the management of processes, projects and consultants to ensure timely, high quality and effective provision of advice and project review outcomes; ensure the relevant Gateway Review databases and the Gateway Review Process website are updated on a timely basis; monitoring expenditure to budget and providing monthly accounting and accrual reports. About you We are seeking applications from candidates with demonstrable experience in: knowledge of the infrastructure project life cycle, in particular DTF's Gateway Review Process, and links to government service delivery and policy objectives. Strong project management and organisational skills and the ability to successfully co‑ordinate a program of activity. Very good interpersonal skills with an ability to build networks and liaise externally with senior government stakeholders and effectively represent the group and department in negotiating appropriate outcomes. An ability to display initiative. Experience and qualifications Background and experience in budget and contract management, and the provision of advice to senior management and other clients. Skills and experience in co-coordinating a program of activities with minimal supervision. Experience in contract execution and management. Proficiency in managing timely payments of accounts.
