As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Administrator to join our Melbourne-based finance team. As the Senior Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our operations. Your responsibilities will include completing bank account reconciliations, resolving cash clearing discrepancies, handling pay runs, troubleshooting revenue data import, collaborating with accounts receivable, and contributing to various ad hoc projects. Key Tasks: Complete bank account reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities. Conduct weekly cash clearing reconciliations, resolving issues causing systemic reconciliation variances. Input and load weekly pay runs into online banking portals. Assist and troubleshoot automated revenue data import processes. Collaborate with the accounts receivable team for reconciliation of venue debtors/functions in over 200 venues. Review and input petty cash receipts. Investigate and review weekly cash variance reports. Proactively adapt to industry innovations within the transactions function. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with external audits as required. Support the Finance department with ad hoc projects as directed. Attributes Necessary for Success in the Role: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar cash settlement/financial reconciliation role in a high-transaction, low-value retail/hospitality environment with multiple sites and media types. Familiarity with POS systems and reconciliation processes, including the ability to prepare cash clearing reconciliations and resolve reconciling items and variances. Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting applications and systems. Strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Initiative and drive. Strong skills with Microsoft Excel. Positive and flexible approach to work. Willingness to be supportive of the greater Head Office team. The role will be Monday to Friday with occasional need for evening/weekend work. Flexible hours within core business hours of 8 am – 6 pm. Flexible working arrangements available, with a requirement to be in the office 7 business days every fortnight.
