About the team Sydney Airport is the major gateway to Australia for both international and domestic travel and is one of Australia's most important pieces of infrastructure. Sydney Airport's (SYD) purpose is to Make Sydney Proud Every Day. The Development team is established to deliver critical aviation infrastructure that enables SYD to achieve its strategic objectives. Development adopts a customer centric approach to our engagement with all internal stakeholders, providing transparency and demonstrable value for money in our dealings with external stakeholders (including Airlines, AFP, Border Force, freight entities and other users) and delivering its results in a way that mitigates unplanned disruptions to ongoing airport operations for all our stakeholders, passengers, and the public. What you'll be doing This is a 18-19 month Max-term Contract/ Secondment opportunity Reporting to the Approvals Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing administrative and system support to coordinate, facilitate and assess planning proposals for a range of Sydney Airport and third-party development projects. You'll be focused on assisting approval coordinators in the efficient processing of minor work applications assigned to you along with daily management of the group inbox, finances and document control records. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide admin support for the Development and Planning Team Improve the approval process for efficiency and customer service. Generate required reports regularly. Support with Risk Registers data. Maintain and update documentation and offer BPM training. Participate in relevant staff training and communications. Assist in stakeholder communications and prepare materials. Manage HTML content for various platforms. Handle Oracle financial processes. Administer quarterly meetings, including agendas and minutes. Who you are You are a driven individual with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task various competing priorities on a daily basis. You have proven administrative experience with background in building and planning processes. You have worked with a number of different software applications including document management systems, business process management, Office 365 with a solid understanding of document control.
