Senior Salesforce Administrator — The Rocks, Sydney

The Role: Our Sydney team is actively seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to take on a pivotal role in the ongoing improvement and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. We're on the lookout for a proactive individual with hands-on experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. In this role, you'll be responsible for gathering requirements and feedback, crafting scalable solutions adhering to best practices, and steering our systems roadmap. Your contribution will be instrumental in the success of the business' Digital Transformation goals. Responsibilities: User and License Management: Oversee all facets of user and license management, including setup, permissions, and group configurations. Configuration Management: Implement and manage Salesforce configuration changes, encompassing flows, assignment rules, and approval processes. Customisation : Utilise basic triggers and Apex code knowledge to tailor Salesforce functionality to meet specific business needs. Environment Management : Maintain sandbox environments and lead DevOps/release management efforts to ensure seamless platform updates. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to identify and document requirements, translating them into scalable, user-centric solutions. Roadmap Development: Define and communicate the Salesforce platform roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and allocate resources effectively. User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support to users, addressing queries and issues promptly, while also conducting comprehensive training sessions to maximize user proficiency. Data Management: Implement strategies to enhance Salesforce data quality, leveraging automation and best practices to optimize data integrity. System Maintenance: Conduct routine system maintenance activities, including security reviews, release updates, and health checks, to ensure optimal platform performance. Communication and Documentation : Serve as a point of contact for platform-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of changes and updates, while also maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. About You: Experience : Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a demonstrated proficiency in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Experience Cloud will also be highly regarded. Certifications : Hold a Salesforce Administrator certification, with additional certifications being advantageous. Solution-Oriented: Exhibit a proactive approach to platform enhancements and solution design, prioritising scalability and usability. Communication Skills : Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into layman's terms. Change Management : Possess a strong understanding of change management and governance principles, facilitating smooth transitions during platform updates. Training Proficiency : Excel in conducting end-user training sessions, ensuring users are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage Salesforce effectively. Technical Acumen : Showcase proficiency in Salesforce configuration changes, DevOps/release management, and basic triggers/Apex code knowledge.
