Join then team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our skilled engineering team. The Role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will: Design innovative, precise, and cost-effective mechanical solutions while adhering to project deadlines and financial plans. Utilise advanced CAD software to create detailed engineering schematics and manufacturing drawings. Enhance production practices and procedures through insightful engineering expertise. Lead machine equipment enhancements from setup to training and integration. Spearhead Mechanical Project teams and collaborate with manufacturing units to elevate design standards. Oversee the maintenance and expansion of our extensive drawing libraries and product documentation. Ensure our bespoke machinery offerings are backed by robust engineering solutions. Provide technical support to our sales and service divisions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with quality management systems. Uphold superior safety standards in machine designs, in alignment with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications and 7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the packaging sector. Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed schematics and conducting simulations. Deep understanding of manufacturing methodologies and materials related to packaging machinery. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a creative approach to overcoming engineering challenges. Strong project management abilities, including coordinating team efforts and adhering to project timelines. Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
